Juda FFA Alumni Association
The Mission of the Juda Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association:
The Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association, Inc. strives to be Wisconsin’s premier Agriculture Education advocate with FFA Alumni support in every community. We envision our diverse, positive, community committed organization to provide resources to support youth development and leadership.
The Vision of the Juda Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association:
We are advocates for FFA and Advocating for Agriculture Education!
FFA Alumni play a very important part in keeping agricultural education and FFA programs in our local schools. FFA relies on its FFA Alumni to garner support for FFA from their local communities, raise funds for chapter activities and scholarships, assist at FFA leadership camps and conferences, and much more. You didn’t have to be a former FFA member to support FFA, agriculture education and the future of agriculture.
The Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association helps support the programs and activities of over 19,000 FFA members in the state. They will continue to support the local FFA Alumni Chapters so that they are better equipped to assist their local community, agriculture instructor(s) and agriculture youth!
FFA Alumni Association Goals:
- To encourage positive relationships between agriculture education departments, school districts, communities, the FFA Family members, and the alumni chapters.
- To provide networking opportunities, leadership training, and advocacy information for chapter and council members.
- To have two sectional representatives from each section seated on the council.
- To encourage all council and chapter members to attend the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Convention.
- To encourage open communication between the state council and chapters.
- To provide chapters with up to date materials and information regarding the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association, Inc.
Wisconsin Association of FFA
Established in 1929, the Wisconsin Association of FFA is an association of the National FFA Organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Wisconsin has 255 FFA chapters statewide and over 19,000 members.
The FFA operates on local, state and national levels. Student members belong to chapters organized at the local school district. In order for a school district to charter and maintain an FFA chapter, there must be a certified licensed agricultural educator hired by the school district who then also serves as the chapter advisor.
FFA members are part of a total program in agricultural education, consisting of classroom instruction in agriculture, supervised agricultural experiences where students gain career skills and on the job training and leadership development through the FFA organization.
